The World Mission Society Church of God (General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol), practices love throughout the world, carrying out voluntary activities such as financial aid for neighbors in need, blood drive and cleanup campaigns. In Iztapalapa, the members of this Church devote themselves to cleaning Cerro de la Estrella, in order to preach with examples for a better world.
Emmannuel Ortiz, a deacon of the World Mission Society Church of God, explained that this kind of works has the purpose of preaching the love and sacrifice of Elohim God, who has come in the flesh a second time to this earth in order to save humankind, that is, Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Savior of the age of the Holy Spirit.
The cleanup campaign of the national park of Cerro de la Estrella, was attended by about 300 people from Federal District, State of Mexico, Morelos and Guerrero, who showed that social organization and participation can achieve a better and integral quality of life.
Deacon Ortiz said, "This cleanup campaign is carrying out not only in Mexico City, but also in 150 countries where the Church of God is, and this way we carry out most of the voluntary service activities."
He also said, "As an earthly family is a shadow of the heavenly family, God the Mother had to come to the world to give us eternal life; just as a physical mother gives life to physical children, our Heavenly Mother had to come to give eternal life to her heavenly children."
He added, "Having our bases on the Bible, we believe in God the Father and God the Mother, keeping faithfully the laws of the new covenant, such as God`s feasts including the Sabbath day and the Passover."
The Bible prophesies Christ coming with the reign of David. David was anointed when he was 30 years old, took Israel`s throne and ruled over Israel during 40 years. Christ Ahnsahnghong gave teachings emphasizing the Passover of the new covenant, which was established 2,000 years ago during Jesus`last night. The Passover of the new covenant is a ceremony in which we eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus Christ, who was sacrificed on the cross as the Passover Lamb. The Apostles and the saints of the early Church kept the Passover on the 14th day of the first month at twilight, according to the sacred calendar, following Jesus` teaching to eat bread and drink wine, which represent Jesus` flesh and blood, with the hope of Christ coming.
