The neighbors cleaned up areas around Bridge Saavedra. More than 300 residents came together Sunday to clean Bridge Saavedra and Maipu Avenue.
They filled a truch with more than one ton of garbave that arouse in more than 20 blocks from one of the most important avenues of the region.
The campaign began at 10 in the morning at Bridge Saavedra. 300 residents devided into two groups and they picked up papers, cans and leaves with globes and bags provided by the minicipality
They walked to the station Bartolome Mitre railroad in Maipu. They came back at 1 pm. with more than one ton of trash
"It was exciting to see so many people participate. We cleaned the sidewalks of the Presidential residence and streets where many people walk every day." says Joseph Olcese, a member of the Church of God located in Rock 3609, West Florida, who hosted the campaign.
"Like many other city streets, Malpu is usually very dirty. Even though the streets belongs to everybody, nobody cares. So we decided to lend a hand to improve it," says Damian Reta, a resident of Florida who joined the campaign together with his wife and children
